Plant for the Planet
Inspired by the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Professor Wangari Maathai, Greensmith Artists Agency join the first United Nations global tree-planting campaign.
Campaign was met with more enthusiasm than anyone could have predicted. After its launch in November 2006, word of the Campaign spread rapidly and partners joined the initiative with remarkable speed.
The original goal of gathering a billion pledges in one year was exceeded in just five months. The billionth tree was in the ground in November 2007. By the end of January 2008, nearly 2.38 billion trees had been pledged and more than 1.8 billion planted.
Dive Against Debris
A Dive Against Debris Diver takes direct ‘fins on’ action for the ocean, collecting critical survey data from any or every dive that can be used by marine researchers and policymakers for conservation efforts.
Help us keep your favorite dive site and local marine environment free of debris and contribute to the largest global underwater database in the world. To reduce marine debris by 50% by 2030, we need everyone working together at local, national and international levels.
See PADI AWARE’s Marine Debris page for more information.
Our aim is to help bring clean and safe water to every person on the planet.
Nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide live without access to clean water. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their families. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school and take up time parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that make everyone sick.
Greensmith is one of the major players in the music industry advocating for free and easy access to drinking water at all clubs and festivals, as it is a crucial segment for attendees safety.
