Initiatives

Artist Education & Empowerment

At Greensmith, we believe that the key to an artist’s long-term success lies in continuous learning and development. Through our specialized programs, we are dedicated to offering educational resources that empower artists to navigate the ever-evolving creative landscape.

Our initiatives, including CineHub, Rampa, and THRE3, offer unparalleled opportunities for emerging artists to receive practical, hands-on training from industry leaders. These programs focus not only on technical skills but also on fostering critical thinking, interdisciplinary exploration, and a deep understanding of the business aspects of the arts.

By equipping artists with both the creative and professional tools they need, we aim to cultivate the next generation of cultural innovators. Whether through workshops, mentoring programs, or collaborative projects, Greensmith remains at the forefront of artist education, inspiring and nurturing talent across the globe.

Plant for the
Planet

Inspired by the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Professor Wangari Maathai, Greensmith Agency proudly joined the United Nations’ first global tree-planting campaign.

The campaign received far greater enthusiasm than anyone had anticipated. After its launch in November 2006, news of the initiative spread rapidly, with partners joining at an impressive pace.

The original goal of securing one billion tree pledges within a year was surpassed in just five months. By November 2007, the billionth tree had already been planted. By the end of January 2008, nearly 2.38 billion trees had been pledged, with over 1.8 billion successfully planted.

Social Impact

Through the Arts

At Greensmith, we believe that art has the power to inspire meaningful social change. Through our Social Impact Through the Arts initiative, we are committed to supporting projects and artists that address critical societal issues such as inclusion, mental health, diversity, and gender equality.

This initiative aims to leverage the unique ability of art to provoke dialogue and raise awareness about the challenges our world faces today. By collaborating with NGOs, cultural organizations, and socially conscious artists, Greensmith fosters creative expressions that not only captivate but also ignite positive action.

From funding socially-driven projects to facilitating cross-cultural collaborations, we empower artists to make a tangible difference through their work. Whether it’s public art installations, theater productions, or film projects, Greensmith is proud to support artistic endeavors that contribute to a more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable world.

Dive Against

Debris

A Dive Against Debris Diver takes direct, hands-on action to protect our oceans by collecting critical survey data from each dive, contributing valuable insights for marine researchers and policymakers to use in conservation efforts.

Help us keep your favorite dive site and local marine environment free from debris while contributing to the world’s largest global underwater debris database. To achieve the goal of reducing marine debris by 50% by 2030, we need collective efforts at local, national, and international levels.

Sustainability

in the Arts

At Greensmith, we are committed to leading the way in promoting sustainability within the creative industries. We recognize the environmental impact that artistic productions can have, and we are dedicated to integrating eco-conscious practices into everything we do.

Our initiative, Sustainability in the Arts, focuses on reducing the carbon footprint of artistic productions by embracing digital technologies, virtual collaboration, and sustainable production methods. By leveraging virtual production tools, AI, and other digital platforms, we minimize the need for extensive travel, physical sets, and resource-heavy processes.

In addition, we partner with eco-conscious organizations and encourage artists to adopt environmentally friendly practices in their creative work. From using recycled materials in set design to reducing waste and energy consumption during performances, we are proud to be at the forefront of this crucial movement.

Through this initiative, Greensmith aims to inspire a cultural shift towards sustainability in the arts, ensuring that creativity flourishes in harmony with the planet.

Free

water

Our aim is to ensure clean and safe water is accessible to every living being on the planet.

Nearly one in ten people worldwide lack access to clean water, with the majority residing in isolated rural areas. These individuals often spend hours each day walking to collect water for their families. This not only keeps children out of school and prevents parents from earning a living, but the water they collect frequently carries diseases that can affect everyone’s health.

Greensmith is proud to be a leading advocate in the entertainment industry for free and easy access to drinking water for all.
